(Edinburgh, Scotland) Seventh through 14th places were determined yesterday at the 2015 FIL Rathbones U19 Women’s World Lacrosse Championship.

13th Place – Republic of Korea 11, Israel 8

Hee June led her team offensively with three goals as the Republic of Korea (2-6, 13th) defeated Israel (0-8, 14th). Chae Eun (2G 2A), Hyunju Shim and Ji Eun each added a pair of goals. Jenna Baverman led Israel with three goals and three assists and Genna Portner also netted three.

11th Place – Finland 11, Colombia 8

Finland (4-4) outdueled Colombia (2-6, 12th) in a tight contest to finish the tournament in 11th place. Lindsay Hobson (5G) led the Finnish scorers, and Essi-Maria Rouhiainen and Inka Ulaska both added a pair of goals. Sierra Haas (2G 3A), Julia Herzfelder (3G), Carolina Rojas (2G) and Hannah Sacristan (1G) provided the offense for Colombia.

9th Place – Germany 9, Czech Republic 5

Germany (6-2) used a 5-1 second half to battle past a 4-4 tie at the break to defeat the Czech Republic (4-4, 10th) and secure 9th place. Philine Partsch (3G 1A), Jennifer Karle (3G) and Sina John (2G) led Germany’s offense. Marie Pecharová scored a pair and Adéla Procházková, Kristýna Dejlová and Sára Schlitzová added one goal each for the Czechs.

7th Place – Wales 14, Scotland 12

Two goals from Player of the Match, Eleanor Jones — one at 7:50 and another at 4:16 of the second half, broke a 12-12 tied and led Wales (2-6, 7th) to victory over host Scotland (4-4, 8th). Jones finished with six goals and three assists with Alys Cowx and Molly Edwards each adding three goals for the Welsh. Francesca Gray (4G 3A) and Lucinda Maxwell (3G 2A) led the Scots scoring with Chloe Carruthers and Benedicte Sampson each netting a pair.
