England Announces Final Roster for Women's U19 Championship

[about three months] to go until Team England’s opening game against Wales at the 2015 FIL Rathbones U19 Women’s Lacrosse World Championship, in Edinburgh, Scotland Team England U19 head coach Nicky Budd announces her final team.

Head Coach Nick Budd commented: “Following a very successful tour to the U.S.A. We are now able to announce the final Squad of 20 that will train leading up to the World Cup in July. “This decision has been an extremely hard one because all the girls have given absolute commitment and dedication to their training over the last three years and been a very cohesive group. They are all a credit to their Country.”

“The 20 will now continue to fine tune their individual skills and techniques and team tactical plays in the final squads and competitions prior to the World Cup to give themselves the best opportunity to make the final 18 that will actually represent England in the World Cup in July. “With the talent, strength, teamwork and focus that has been demonstrated so far by the U19 England girls we are confident that we are on track to achieve our standards of performance and goals in Edinburgh in July.”

“Our Year, Our Time, using Gold Medal Standards!”
