Finland chosen for 2012 Men’s U-19 Championship

Finland chosen for 2012 Men’s U-19 Championship

(TURKU, FINLAND) Turku, Finland is chosen to host the 2012 FIL U19 World Championships. This is most likely going to be the biggest U19 tournament so far.

Turku is located in the Southwest coast of Finland and has a great history of hosting big international sports events such us Ice Hockey World Championships and U18 World Cup in soccer.

City of Turku is supporting the games greatly by making the facilities available for free. The venues, Kupittaa sports park and sports park, currently have 3 turf and 9 grass fields and by the year 2012 we will have two turf fields more.

Looking forward to meet the players, officials and fans in Turku!
