COQUITLAM, BC – The Iroquois Nationals beat Australia to win their third consecutive bronze medal at the U19 level and England held off a very determined Israel squad to finish in fifth place Saturday at the 2016 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Under-19 Men’s Lacrosse World Championships presented by Novus.

COQUITLAM, BC – The United States will contend for their eighth consecutive Under-19 world championship on Saturday after a near-perfect game in a 23-1 semifinal win over Australia on Thursday. They will face Canada once again for the world U19 title, after the host defeated the Iroquois Nationals 14-11.

Championship Semis Set as Iroquois, Aussies win

COQUITLAM, BC – The Final 4 is set at the 2016 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Under-19 Men’s Lacrosse World Championships presented by Novus. Canada will face the Iroquois Nationals Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. and the United States will look to book their ticket in the final in a semifinal battle with Australia at 4:30 p.m.

COQUITLAM, BC— The United States closed out round-robin play with a perfect 4-0 record, defeating England (0-4) 19-6, and the Iroquois Nationals, Ireland, Germany, Israel and Scotland won other games at the 2016 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Under-19 Men’s Lacrosse World Championships presented by Novus at Coquitlam Town Centre.
