(COPENHAGEN, DENMARK) The Danish Lacrosse Federation would like to officially invite you to join us at the 6th annual Copenhagen Lacrosse Cup.

2015’s tournament is taking place August 7th – 9th (Friday – Sunday), at Kløvermarken Idrætsanlæg, Kløvermarksvej 2300 København, in the beautiful city of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Last years cup…

2014′s tournament featured both men’s and women’s sections.

In the men’s final the Swedish combo of Lund/Gothenburg defeated Polish Soul (a combined team from England and Poland) to win the coveted Viking-Horn trophy.

In the women’s final Den Hague First Ladies team defeated the Danish Shield-maidens to win the first ever women’s edition of our tournament.

Moving on from 2014 we are looking to further expand upon our current tournament format, as a result there will be a big emphasis placed on developing the women’s division in 2015.

Details for 2015

Fees:
  • The registration fee for all teams is 100€/team and 20€/player
  • The deadline for the team fee is May 1st.
  • Special early-bird offer: Register and pay the team fee by February 1st and receive a complimentary case of cold Danish beer.
Lodging:

You can find a range of recommendable lodging on our website, but we are currently also exploring cheaper housing options – contact us if you are interested.

Schedule:
  • The tournament will officially be starting with the opening face-off on Friday the 7th at 10am.
  • Each team will be playing two games per day.
  • Finals will be played on Sunday at 2pm.

Afterwards the much sought-after Horn will be handed over to 2015′s winner.

Parties:

Don’t Panic! There will be an event each night.
We know that there is nothing better than enjoying a refreshing beverage after a long day of lacrosse. We will bring you more information as our planning unfolds.

Location:
  • Centrally located, the fields are reachable by the metro (Christianshavn Metro Station), which departs from the airport every 5-10 min.
  • The fields are also reachable by bus from the central station, directly to the clubhouse.
  • There will be food and beverages available at the fields.
